Interactive session with demonstrations and clear specific advice for each candidate based upon their specific requirements.

Suitable for all levels of photographer but mainly aimed at beginners wishing to get more from their photography and use their camera to its full potential.

This course is specifically for owners of DSLR, Mirrorless, Compact System and Bridge cameras with multiple shooting modes regardless of brand.

• Do professionals always shoot in manual mode?

2. Shooting Modes

Understanding how your camera captures images

• Relationship between Aperture, Shutter speed and sensor sensitivity (ISO).
P, A, S, M, X, Av, Tv, TAv, Sv;

• what do they all mean.
• Full auto, semi-auto, manual
• When to use each mode
• Aperture Compensation

3. What else you might need to consider?

4. Interactive session

• Due to the small number of delegates there will be time, with guidance, to use your own camera to try the various modes.
• Please bring your camera with you. The course is generic in nature to cover all brands of camera, however it would be beneficial if you could also bring any instruction manuals in case of brand specific variations.
